ARTICLE: Do you have buddy’s that constantly post away messages telling you what they are doing or how they feel? Yeah, me too. I went through my buddy list and analyzed these away messages and figured out what they really mean.
“out…” – I am an alcoholic.
“last night was rediccccc” – I am a slut and got Eiffel Towered last night!
“at <insert girls name here>’s place” – I am currently attempting to make my ex-girlfriend jealous. In actuality I am staying home playing Halo 3 online trying to level up (or Grand Theft Auto).
“brb” – I won’t be right back. The only reason I say this is to get off from chatting with you. How come your away has said brb for 5 hours? Yes I have been waiting.
“doin hw… someone distract me” – I am an idiot. I’m not going to do my ‘hw’ and I’m only saying that so I have an excuse when I don’t do it.
“Drankiinn” – I’m cool and I drink like 90% of other college students. Oh yeah and I’m from the South, I’m cool right? No.
“I love my big!” – I am forced to say these things because I pay for my friends.
“recovering” – I am too stupid to know my own limits.
“<insert any song lyrics here>” – I am either a depressed maniac looking for attention or worse, I am happy about something and want to rub in in your face.
“<insert any quote from any aim convo here> – I am so popular and I am talking to this person.
And lastly, for those who post their schedules in their away message. No one cares what you are doing!
